Professional career

Dagoberto obtained a bachelor’s degree in Business Informatics from Tecnológico de Monterrey and a master’s degree in Big Data Management jointly delivered by Université Libre de Bruxelles, BarcelonaTech, and Technische Universiteit Eindhoven. He has worked on education and volunteered on data science initiatives for social good.

He was PhD student of ESR02 “User interface design: optimising findability” project of H2020 Marie Curie European Training Network programme ODECO between 2022 and 2025, defending successfully his PhD titled “Evaluation of User Interfaces in Open Data Portals” on 1st December 2025. His research interests were focused on designing user-driven open data experiences and services for technical and non-technical users.
