Professional career

Dr. Sergio Martín Segura holds a PhD in Computer Science from the University of Zaragoza (2025), where he also obtained his degree in Computer Engineering (2018). Since 2018, he has been an active member of the Advanced Information Systems Group (IAAA), where he has developed a research career focused on open and geospatial data infrastructures, applied machine learning, and technological innovation in information systems.

His trajectory includes contributions to the development of advanced methodologies and practical applications that address challenges in the management and analysis of open and geospatial data, sustainability, and digitalisation.
